Clare Bar

Clare Bar is a refreshing take on the traditional watering hole, keeping the same spirit that made its former incarnation so loved. Striking the balance between a chilled Aussie pub and a hotel bar, it’s a place to relax, have a drink and have a chat.

We’ve kept the original wall tiles and the same inclusive attitude, where locals, travellers, artists and everyone in between can gather around the curved bar. Outside, seats overlook Broadway and Kensington Streets, perfect for people-watching and soaking up the city buzz. From a cheeky midday beer to evening cocktails and snacks, it’s an easy place to drop in solo, meet a mate or mark a moment.
